AFM Local 571 acknowledges that our office is located on the traditional land of the Mi’kmaq Nation. This territory is covered by the “Treaties of Peace and Friendship” which Mi’kmaq and Wolastoqiyik peoples first signed with the British Crown in 1725. The treaties did not deal with the surrender of lands and resources but in fact, recognized Mi’kmaq and Wolastoqiyik title and established the rules for what was going to be an ongoing relationship.

Biographical Info Splitting his time between music scenes on the East Coast and Toronto, Patrick has performed with some of Canada’s finest musicians, including Juno Nominee Alex Bird and the Jazz Mavericks, Ethan Ardelli, Geoff Young, Paul Tynan, Trevor Giancola, Virginia MacDonald, Luis Deniz, and Ian Toms. He has also performed with Grammy Award-winning artist Joe Lovano and as well as The New York Voices. From 2014 to 2023 Patrick was the director of the Victoria Row Jazz Band, playing 6 nights a week in the summer in Charlottetown, PEI. In 2024 Patrick joined the Charlottetown Festival Orchestra for the productions of Anne of Green Gables the Musical, and Jersey Boys.
